Oops! Need a Grammar Review?

I came across the story about Andrew Meyer’s Tasering at a John Kerry event in Florida from AP – you know, the same company that writes major national news stories for papers.

In, the sidebar of the article, I noticed a problem with a link: “More passion (and Tasering) then norm for Kerry.”

What’s wrong with that? The word then implies that something happened and following that event, something else happens. The correct word is than.

I’m truly surprised that with the size of the editorial staff at AP, they didn’t catch this blunder! Maybe I should send them my resume!

How ’bout it?
